I #failed multiple times before I finally learnt this about building a #successful startup.

Most of us fall in love with the #idea or run after what looks shiny/trendy and very soon land into trouble. Based upon my #failures, here are 5 parameters that when satisfied, lead to a low #risk and high #gain startup.

1. #Lean startup - your business shouldn't cost more than 10% of your monthly salary else you will need to touch your savings or look for external funding.

2. #Scalable system - as you expand your business from location to location, cost of operation shouldn't go up.

3. #Mentorship - a mentor kind of figure should be available to support not just in business, but also in life

4. #Flexibility - you should be able to start it part time while keeping your job and eventually transition full time

5. #Pandemic/recession proof - the business shouldn't get affected by economic cycles

My current businesses satisfy all the criteria, hence I paid lesser price for my growth and success. Few other #entrepreneur friends of mine didn't have all the parameters satisfied. They still succeeded but had to pay higher price for success.
